The E model (276 cm) has been reinvented and designed based on its 1895 predecessor. It is recognized by many pianists as one of the top-tier pianos, among the most innovative on the market.
Among its unique features, the special rim shape optimizes sound reflection, the bracing is designed in both star and square patterns, and the action provides an “incredibly enjoyable touch” (Cyprien Katsaris). “For interpreting Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven, it is difficult to find better today,” wrote Le Monde de la Musique, Paris, during a comparative test of 11 top-tier concert pianos. In addition to its adaptability to the classical repertoire, it also accommodates 20th- and 21st-century repertoire, thanks to its percussive register. All of this distinguishes the E from other remarkable brands, which are often more focused on 19th-century repertoire.
The E is present in and can be heard in many major concert halls around the world, from the Berlin Philharmonie to Quito, Ecuador.
