Estonia

The Estonia Grand pianos are handcrafted in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, since 1893. They are built with the highest quality German materials. Under the ex-URSS communist regime, the factory made many instruments for the internal market only. At this time the factory couldn’t use the best materials to make a high quality piano. Since the Estonian independence in 1991 and the company privatization, Estonia imports the best German woods and materials for its pianos: Renner mechanics and hammers, Röslau strings, Kluge fingerboards…

Today the factory is run by a family of musicians: Venno Laul (choir’s chief) and his son Indrek Laul (piano concertist, graduate from the Juilliard School of New York). Their only goal has always been to reach the best quality possible and to develop their own sound identity with a deep, romantic and rich sound. The older models were therefore completely changed and are now high quality pianos sold worldwide.

Estonia has 4 grand piano models, from the miniature grand piano to the concert grand piano (168, 190, 225, 274) with an interesting quality-price ratio. Michaël Grailet is the only Estonia piano dealer in Wallonia and the only technician approved by the brand (See Services). Come and try these pianos with their authentic personalities!
