Steingraeber & Söhne C-212

Available colors :

The C-212 is the direct descendant of Franz Liszt’s Steingraeber piano, the 205, dating from 1873. It has been adapted to the dynamic demands of the 21st century while preserving the charm of chamber music. With the C-212, all the appeal of the 205—fascinating pianists for over 140 years—is rediscovered, from Franz Liszt through Richard Strauss to Daniel Barenboim.

Thanks to the breadth of its tonal spectrum, its balanced register of highly differentiated tonal colors, and its enhanced sound development, the C-212 is intended for a wide range of uses: piano and chamber music recitals, recordings, contemporary music festivals—and of course auditoriums and conservatory classrooms. The 205 is already in use at the conservatories of music in Hanover, Helsinki, Lucerne, and Paris.
